This puppy was born under the care of Creekside Kennels LLC. The health and temperament of the puppy is great to the best of the Sellers' knowledge at the time of sale. Buyer states that she is buying this puppy/dog as a companion. Seller cannot guarantee breeding potential. If Buyer decides to breed the dog, Buyer must have hip and elbow Xrays taken at the proper age and dog must have obtained a good/normal or better rating via OFA or SV prior to breeding. In addition the dog must have a sound temperament and be certified by a licensed veterinarian to be free of disease and genetic defects prior to breeding.
Buyer agrees to send monthly updates the first year of the puppies’ life. After one year of age, the Buyer agrees to send 2 updates a year (roughly 6 months apart). Updates must include pictures as well as information on personality, health, temperament, socialization/training, breeding (if applicable), show/trial results (if applicable) etc.
Buyer/s can name the puppy a name of their choice; however, the kennel name of "vom haus Jennings" must remain at the end of the name for AKC registration.
The vaccinations and de-wormings are on the health record provided to Buyer. Seller requires the Buyer to have the puppy/dog examined by a licensed veterinarian within 72 hours after receipt of the puppy/dog. If the veterinarian finds any major life threatening genetic defect, illness or disease with the pup, the puppy/dog (along with all veterinary records) must be immediately returned to the Seller at the expense of Buyer. Failure to see a veterinarian within 72 hours will void all guarantees. Buyer understands that any injury, medical emergency, disease or illness contracted after the sale and pickup of the puppy, while in the Buyer’s sole possession, does not qualify under this guarantee.
If the Buyer is not happy with the puppy/dog for any reason, the puppy must be returned to the Seller at the Buyer’s expense -- NO questions asked. Refund, if any, will be determined on a case by case basis. We want everyone to be happy and rather you return a pup (than keep one) that is not what you wanted/expected – or if life circumstances have changed and a pup is no longer a good choice for you.

Guarantee and Sale Agreement (Page 2 of 3)
The Buyer agrees to provide complete and appropriate lifelong veterinary care, a high quality diet, a safe/happy environment and proper safe socialization throughout the puppy/dog’s life. In the event that the Buyer cannot or no longer wishes to provide the proper mental, social and physical care for the puppy/dog, the Buyer must notify the Seller immediately in writing and return the puppy/dog to the Seller at the Buyer’s expense as soon as possible. Buyer cannot give away/sell/surrender puppy/dog to anyone other than the Seller for any reason. Seller must be given right of first refusal. Seller will find an appropriate home for the puppy/dog. Refund (if any) to the Buyer will be mutually agreed upon in writing at that time.
Buyer understands that proper high quality nutrition and “safe” exercise play a critical role (especially while the pup grows the first year and a half) in maintaining healthy joints/hips. Buyer agrees to: #1 Feed the pup an appropriate amount of a high quality diet, making sure NOT to overfeed the pup causing him/her to grow too fast and #2 Not allow strenuous exercise for the first year and a half - to lessen the stress on joints and bones as the pup grows.
With the Buyer, the Seller has discussed/provided information on: pet insurance, proper nutrition, supplements, toys, treats, potty/crate training, safe and positive training and socialization, general health care, general puppy/dog safety tips and safe/unsafe people food with the Buyer. Buyer understands that it is critical to monitor puppy/dog at all times (indoors and outdoors / in public and at home) to keep them safe from items such as/but not limited to a variety of: household/public/environmental hazards; other pets/people/wild animals/toxic plants/stairs and steps/vehicles/chemicals (antifreeze/mouse poison) etc. Buyer agrees to never leave pup/dog tied up outside unobserved for any length of time for any reason. There are far too many risks associated with choking/weather/machinery/vehicles/insects/other animals or people that can cause harm.
If this puppy/dog develops crippling hip dysplasia at any time from date of purchase to two years of age (confirmed by x-rays from a competent licensed Veterinarian), the dog can be returned to the Seller at the expense of the Buyer for a refund. In order to receive the refund the Buyer will be asked to show proof that the pup was provided a proper diet and confirm they did not engage in strenuous exercise for the first year and a half; should the pup be found to have hip dysplasia. Seller reserves the right to request that the x-rays be sent first for review to a board-certified Veterinarian of their choice. If the Buyer prefers to retain the said puppy/dog, the Buyer thereby forfeits any replacement, unless other arrangements are mutually agreed upon in writing.
Seller will gladly give advice and opinions to Buyer in regards to the puppy/dog. Buyer understands that Seller stresses that the Buyers’ veterinarian should be the considered the best source of information.
