Dogs CANNOT be brought in for boarding for any of the following reasons:
*Recently or Currently having any symptoms such as -- vomiting, diarrhea, coughing, sneezing (from illness)
*Currently being treated for any parasites (internal or external)
*Recently or Currently being treated for any contagious disease
*Aggressive behavior to other dogs and or people - your dog/s MUST be able to be handled without concern of anyone being bitten or having any possibility of being bitten. A slightly shy dog is ok - but not one who is so shy that we cannot pet, touch, leash, walk, feed/clean or be in the same space as them.
Bring the following items from home to make your pets stay as comfortable as possible.
**Food, Treats, Supplements & Medications
**Blankets & Pillows & Beds
**Toys / Chews
Kennels are next to our house:
**We have the ability to check on and spend much more time with the dogs boarding here than most kennels who only have employees on site from 8 to 5. WE will make sure your pet has the best stay possible by giving them alot of love, and attention throughout the entire day, Monday through Sunday! We spend time with each dog individually, giving them extra attention, ear scratches, belly rubs, exercise, treats, and lots of love.
We send updates directly to the owners and we include photos of their pups:
**So they can see how their pups are doing, this helps the owners relax, knowing and seeing their pups are having a great time here
Cameras inside the garage facing the kennels allow us 24/7 access to see how the dogs are doing
Have an active dog?
We now offer walks as well as supervised playtime in two large fenced in areas! You can select one or both of these extra services when you make your appointment.
You can select from various toy, treat, chew and puzzle options each day of your pet's stay. You can also choose to add anything from the shop for us to give to your pup while he/she is here!!
Brain teasers like lick mats, snuffle mats, interactive toys and toys/puzzles filled treats - plus yummy gourmet treats like chicken/duck/turkey necks, tripe twists, pig snouts, duck heads, jerky, salmon skins and so much more! A fun way to keep your dog occupied by using his/her brain and getting some exercise too!!
Our private kennels are very large & we offer indoor and outdoor sections in all kennels!
**Your pet can go inside or outside and stretch their legs whenever they want. They are not suck in a 4x6 cell for the majority of their stay here. They can go outside to use the restroom whenever they need to, they are not limited to only a few bathroom breaks a day. On the inside we have their cots/food/water etc.
2 Different outside kennel options - Wooded vs Covered Side
**Wooded Side -- As long as your dog is not an escape artist, or a pup who gets into trouble by eating things they shouldn't or trying to destroy fencing or dig or climb or jump over fencing
**Covered Side -- If you have a young pup or a small breed dog, a dog who eats things he or she shouldn't or an escape artist, then this is the side for your pup. It is covered outside and the flooring is deck boards!
Have a dog who likes to hear themselves talk (alot)?
** Dogs bark. It is what they do. We do ask that if you have a dog that tends to bark alot, to let us know in advance. For the well being of your dog, plus the comfort of other dogs here boarding, as well as our own dogs, we would rather not have a dog here that barked incessantly. We do understand that you may not know ahead of time if your dog will bark a lot, being kenneled in certainly different than being in the yard at home. So please do not be surprised when you pick up your pup and he or she has lost part (or all) of their voice from barking while here. We can and do offer natural calming supplements, with owner approval, for pups who show anxious behavior while here.
Our kennels have air conditioning/giant fans for summer, and heat/ heaters in winter:
**the kennels/garage are insulated and comfortable year round
It is hard to leave your fur kids behind:
**We do our best to keep them happy and comfortable. For those pups who have separation anxiety or are simply more stressed than others - we spend extra time with them to help them settle in and be more comfortable. You can also ask your veterinarian to recommend natural and or medicinal anxiety meds - which we will give to your pet as needed/directed. We carry several safe and effecting calming treats/supplements. We will keep you updated on a daily basis too!
NO Extra Fees:
**for giving oral medication or supplements, or special food.
Please keep your dogs on a leash while here:
This is for their safety as well as that of others. Please be considerate of others -- Most dogs/people don't like to be approached by off leash dogs. Some dogs may jump up on people, vehicles, etc, or chase after a rabbit! We also have areas that are landscaped, and having a dog or dogs run through/urinate on the plants can kill them. Please be considerate!! Thank you
NO mingling of boarding dogs with any other dogs:
**No group play with our dogs or boarding dogs. We are not set up for this type of service. Each dog has his/her own individual kennel with ample inside and outside space to play and relax in. I can highly recommend a local doggy day care facility - just ask!
No aggressive dogs are allowed
**No dogs who show aggression or are a bite risk towards humans and or other dogs are allowed to board here.
**You will be fully liable/responsible if your dog bites someone - or - another dog!
**We must be able to fully interact with your dog without any risk of being bitten. If your dog is so anxious that sudden moves or reaching toward them to put on a leash can set them off, this is not the place for your dog. Kennels can be stressful places for dogs who are not normally stressed, but for those who are already easily stressed and if a bite it a real possibility = then they simply cannot board here. Thanks for understanding.
Pets who do NOT have the required vaccinations/tests/preventatives:
**Will NOT be allowed to stay.
**This is for the safety of the other dogs boarding here, as well as our own dogs who live here. Thank you for understanding.
Destructive Dogs
**Dogs who chew/rip or otherwise destroy parts of the kennels or what is in the kennels - will be charged extra fees to repair or replace these objects and to clean up the mess.
*Dogs who are messy - including those who don't go outside to potty - will be charged extra fees for cleaning
